(C) Norway cannot commit additional resources to fund trainers 
beyond the 9 military police already designated to stand up a 
Police Operational Mentor and Liasion Team (POMTL) in RC-North. 
Ministry of Defense Afghanistan Desk Officer Borre Rikardsen told 
Army Attache February 20 that no additional forces are currently 
being considered for deployment to Afghanistan.  He also noted that 
the four civilian police officers currently deployed will shift to 
join the new POMLT in RC-North, scheduled to begin operations in 
June 2010.
