SUBJECT: LIBYA'S DELEGATION TO THE AFRICAN UNION SUMMIT

1. (SBU) The General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and 
International Cooperation (MFA-equivalent) informed Post on 
January 27 that its delegation to the African Union summit to be 
held beginning January 30 in Addis Ababa would consist of: 
 
- Colonel Muammar al-Qadhafi, Leader of the Revolution 
- Secretary Musa Kusa, Foreign Minister-equivalent 
- Dr. Ahmed Fituri, Secretary of the Americas department at the 
MFA 
- Juma Ibrahim Amer, Secretary-designate for African Affairs 
- Libya's Ambassador to Addis Ababa 
 
2. (SBU)  MFA indicated that meetings with members of the Libyan 
delegation would be available to arrange meetings at the summit, 
though it did not provide contact information for the traveling 
delegation.
