SUBJECT: EMBASSY GRENADA CLOSED AUGUST 4 FOR EMANCIPATION DAY HOLIDAY 
AND AUGUST 10 AND 11 FOR CARNIVAL HOLIDAYS 
 
¶1. Embassy Grenada will be closed Monday, August 3, 2008 for the 
local celebration of Emancipation Day. 
 
¶2. Post will resume normal operations on Tuesday, August 4. 
 
¶3. Embassy Grenada will be closed also on Monday, August 10 and 
Tuesday, August 11, 2009 for the local Carnival celebrations. 
 
¶4. Post will resume normal operations on Wednesday, August 12. 
 
¶5. Because of the July 25 departure from post of the Charge 
d'Affaires, in the event of an American Citizen emergency, the 
Consulate General at Embassy Bridgetown should be contacted at
