Econoff delivered reftel response to Stephen Borthwick,
Acting Executive Director, Aviation and Airports, Department
of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local
Government. Borthwick said the GOA had examined the proposal
and believed there would be overall benefits to member states
and for ICAO planning if assessments were split between US
and Canadian dollars. He said the GOA had advised
Australia's ICAO Council representative that Australia
supports the proposal to split the assessment.
