SUBJECT: NORWEGIANS CONSIDER DRAFT RESOLUTION CONDEMNING
RAPE

REF: STATE 135255

On September 26 we delivered reftel points to MFA Women's
Issues Coordinator Ambassador Guro Katerina Vikor. She
supported the draft in concept, and pledged to closely study
the proposed resolution. Vikor noted that referencing UN
Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) in the draft was a
particularly positive point.
