¶1. This is an action request for WHA/CAR. 
 
¶2. Post requests Leahy Vetting for 13 Haitian National Police 
officers assigned to Crime Scene duties. These officers will receive 
Forensics training led by DOJ/ICITAP personnel traveling to Haiti - 
Dr. Gessy Coicou and Aric Dutelle - who will also receive team 
equipment. The training is scheduled for August 13-17, 2007 at the 
United Nations compound (acronym: UNPOL) and therefore the vetting 
process must be completed well before August 17 to enable the 
issuance of equipment. 
 
¶3. No derogatory information on any of the following police officers 
as of August 2, 2007 was found after our internal vetting or 
following the Consular Section's INK process.
