As per the above reftels, EXBS Ljubljana is pleased to 
provide response to the Export Control Systems Standards 
Questionnaire for Slovenia. 
 
Export Control System Standards 
  ¶I.   What government agencies and offices are involved in 
       developing export control policies and implementing 
       export control regulations in the following areas: 
 
  ¶A.   Control lists: 
  ¶1.   Licensing authority (both munitions and dual use, if 
     different). 
  Ministry of Economy for dual use, Ministry of Defense 
  for munitions

  III. What major changes, if any, have occurred in the 
       laws, regulations, institutions, and implementation of 
       export and related border controls since 2004? 
The new Export of Dual-Use Goods Act was adopted on March 
26,  2004  and entered into force on April 16, 2004.  The 
new  act was adopted to regulate the control measures for 
exports of dual-use items in the part not governed by the 
European Union regulations in this field, or where  these 
regulations  authorize member states to further  regulate 
 
 
the field in their national regulations. This act applies 
 
 
in   addition  to  the  provisions  of  the  EU   Council 
Regulation  (EC)  No 1334/2000 of 22 June  2000  and  the 
Council  Joint  Action  of 22 June  2000  concerning  the 
control   of  technical  assistance  related  to  certain 
military end-uses. 
 
A  legal  base  for  appointing the  Commission  for  the 
control of exports of dual-use items is the major  change 
that  occurred in the new law. The work of the Commission 
and  other  details  of implementation  of  new  law  are 
regulated  with the new Decree on the Control of  Exports 
of Dual-Use Goods.

       control aid, assistance, or training programs? If so, 
       please provide details.
