The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.
The middle box contains the header information that is associated with the cable. It includes information about the receiver(s) as well as a general subject.
The bottom box presents the body of the cable. The opening can contain a more specific subject, references to other cables (browse by origin to find them) or additional comment. This is followed by the main contents of the cable: a summary, a collection of specific topics and a comment section.

- WARSAW CONSULAR CONFERENCE (JAN.31-FEB.1) 
 
¶1. Embassy Vilnius requests country clearance for POL/ECON 
Officer Christian Yarnell to travel to Warsaw to attend the 
January 31-February 1 Warsaw Regional Consular Conference. 
Mr. Yarnell will arrive on January 29 at 15:15 onboard 
Flight LO 772, and depart February 1 at 19:55.  He holds a 
Top Secret clearance. 
 
¶2. Confirmation that hotel reservations have been made at 
the Sheraton hotel for the nights of January 29-31 would be 
welcomed.  Post's continued assistance with Conference 
preparation is greatly appreciated.
