ΒΆ1. (SBU) China appreciates U.S. humanitarian assistance to Haiti and 
hopes to keep in close touch with the United States through 
bilateral and multilateral channels regarding assistance to Haiti, 
MFA Department of North American Affairs U.S. Division Deputy 
Director Zhao Yumin told EconOff January 26 in response to reftels. 
Zhao also expressed appreciation for U.S. assistance in facilitating 
two recent Chinese flights carrying relief supplies to Haiti.
