REVIEW SESSION

REF: SECSTATE 123209

(SBU) PolOff discussed reftel December 3 with the MFA's Human
Rights Desk Officer Anna Miklos. Miklos stated that Hungary
plans an intervention, although not "judging each and every
point." She said that Hungary will urge better cooperation
with Human Rights bodies and international organizations;
express concern over the current halt in the family
unification process between North and South Korea, commenting
that even a one or two year delay negatively affects elderly
family members who may soon pass on; and stress greater
flexibility in freedom of movement, free expression and
religious freedom.
