(SBU) The Secretary, the Ambassador and NEA A/S Feltman 
emphasized reftel themes during their November 2 audience 
with King Mohammed VI, Prince Moulay Rachid, Prime Minister 
Abbas El Fassi and Minister of Foreign Affairs and 
Cooperation Taieb Fassi Fihri, as well as in a series of 
meetings with other Moroccan and other senior G-8 and Arab 
officials in Marrakesh for the Forum for the Future.  On 
November 3, PolCouns delivered the talking points to 
Ambassador Mohammed Azeroual, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 
Inspector General for the Middle East (P-equivalent) in 
Marrakesh.  Azeroual fully understood the urgency of the 
demarche and said he would ask Fassi Fihri to consider 
reaching out to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
