(U) Econoff delivered reftel information on the U.S. Food and 
Drug Administration's (FDA) Reportable Food Registry (RFR) to 
Dr. Pasztor Szabolcs, acting head of unit in the Department 
of Food Control at the Ministry of Agriculture, and to 
representatives of the Food Safety Authority.  Dr. Szabolcs 
stated that the RFR is a very useful tool to reduce the risk 
of outbreaks of foodborne diseases, and said he will 
encourage Hungarian export establishments to familiarize 
themselves with it.
