Understanding cables

2. (SBU) On November 12, Beijing US Treasury Attache provided 
reftel demarche points on the designation of Malaysian Bank 
and Bank Mellat Chairman under E.O 13382 to the designated 
interlocutors at the People's Bank of China.  The People's 
Bank of China did not provide any immediate comment or 
response. 
 
3. (SBU) On November 13, EconOff sent reftel demarche points 
via fax to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs North 
American Affairs Division desk.
