ΒΆ1.        (SBU)  Canada is closely coordinating its 64th UN General 
Assembly, Third Committee positions on no-action motions, 
country-specific resolutions, and the defamation of religions 
thematic resolution with the U.S., according to Department of 
Foreign Affairs and International Trade  (DFAIT) Human Rights 
Policy Division contacts.  Post conveyed reftel points to DFAIT 
Deputy Director Flavie Major,  Human Rights Policy Division and 
Senior Policy Advisor Cyndy Nelson, both of whom  are currently in 
New York.  Major promised a more detailed response in the coming 
days.
