Understanding cables

On October 7, PolOff delivered reftel demarches to Luis Carranza, 
Director for Multilateral Policy at the Ministry of Foreign 
Affairs.  Carranza stated that the GOG shares U.S. interests in 
non-proliferation and supports the Non-Proliferation Treaty. 
Carranza added that the GOG will convey that message to Iran if, 
and when, possible.  Post will report any further communications on 
this issue.
