Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

1. (SBU) Drawing on the points conveyed reftel, the Embassy 
urged the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 
25 to shore up support for the Iraqi Government and the 
ongoing process of stabilization in Iraq in the lead up to 
the January 2010 elections. 
 
2. (SBU) The Embassy will report any substantive response we 
receive from the Tunisians.
