Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

(SBU) Lebanon is not likely to make any public statements 
urging Iran to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy 
Agency (ref), MFA Americas Desk Officer Majdi Ramadan told 
poloff on September 28.  Ramadan clarified, however, that the 
GOL does not support the existence of nuclear weapons in Iran 
or in other countries in the Middle East region.  He said he 
would convey reftel's points about the newly publicized 
covert uranium enrichment facility in Iran to Foreign 
Minister Fawzi Salloukh upon his return to Beirut from the UN 
General Assembly later the same day.
