1.(SBU) Ambassador Eric G. John met July 14 with Virasakdi Futrakul, 
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), and 
delivered reftel demarche regarding the humanitarian crisis in 
Africa.  Perm Sec Virasakdi took note and stated he would convey the 
points to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva.
