1.  This is an action request for ISN/WMDT.  Please see para 4. 
 
2.  In a joint approach with Russian and Dutch colleagues, Mission 
delivered points as requested per REFTEL to IAEA Office of Nuclear 
Security Director, Anita Nilsson, encouraging her participation in 
the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism (GICNT) 
ministerial.  Nilsson accepted the invitation and is willing to give 
a 10-minute presentation at the 2009 Plenary Meeting (June 16, 
afternoon "Speaker TBD") on the IAEA's efforts that specifically 
advance the GICNT Statement of Principles.  She will also 
participate in the Equipment/Technology Working Group (June 17). 
 
3.  Nilsson proposes to reflect in her presentation suggestions for 
a more established IAEA role in the GICNT.  Nilsson also requested 
the agenda and subject details for the Equipment/Technology Working 
Group so that she can ensure the appropriate IAEA subject matter 
expert attends the meeting with her, if necessary. 
 
4.  Post requests guidance for responding to Anita Nilsson's 
requests in para 3.
