Understanding cables

1.  In response to questions raised in ref cable, South Africa's 
sugar authorities note that South Africa recently shipped 22,860 
metric tons of raw sugar to the United States, which fulfills this 
year's quota allocation. 
 
2.  If there were a reallocation of the current quota amount, South 
Africa "will be more than happy to fulfill any extra amount 
allocated". 
 
3.  A copy of the written (email) response has been forwarded to Ron 
Lord, USDA/FAS/OTP/ITSP.
