HONG KONG

1. On Sunday 22 March 2009, at 1345, approximately 15
demonstrators marched from a rally point in the Central
District of Hong Kong to the U.S. Consulate General in an
effort to call attention to the cause of world peace.

2. The Hong Kong Police reported that the demonstration was
organized by the Asian Peace Front. The demonstrators chanted
peace slogans and presented a petition to a representative
from the Consulate General.

3. The Hong Kong Police advised the RSO of the planned
demonstration two days in advance. There was a heavy police
presence around the Consulate General before and during the
protest. RSO and MSG personnel were on hand during the
demonstration, which concluded peacefully after approximately
15 minutes. There were no injuries or damage to Consulate
General property.
