Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:

1.  (SBU) In accordance with reftel, Ambassador discussed 
Jordan's participation in the Afghanistan conference on March 
24 with Chief of the Royal Court Nasser Al-Lozi who said that 
LTG Prince Faisal, who is the King's brother and the special 
assistant to the Chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff, 
would likely lead Jordan's delegation to the Hague. 
 
2.  (SBU) Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh was 
scheduled to attend the Arab League Doha Summit at the end of 
March, according to the FM's office director Mohammed Ensour 
on March 23.  PolChief had earlier conferred with the Dutch 
Embassy in Amman on the possibility of delivering a joint 
demarche on the International Conference to Afghanistan.  The 
Dutch DCM informed PolChief that his ambassador had already 
delivered the demarche to the MFA.  Post will follow up and 
provide further details of Jordan's delegation as they become 
available.
