A TRADING COMPANY AND DEALS IN ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS FOR TAIWAN'S 
MILITARY SECTOR. 
 
3. BURNABY WAS OPEN AND COOPERATIVE.  THE CONTROLLED ITEMS WERE SOLD 
TO THE CHUNG SHAN INSTITUE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (CSIST). CSIST 
WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1968 AND IS THE PRIMARY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT 
INSTITUTE OF THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEFENSE.  POST OBTAINED A COPY 
OF THE PROCUREMENT CONTRACT BETWEEN CSIST AND BURNABY.  THE CONTRACT 
DATED JUNE 4, 2008 INCLUDES THE PURCHASE OF NINE CATEGORIES OF 
DIGITAL AND ANALOGUE CONVERTERS AND SPECIFIES A DELIVERY DATE OF 
NOVEMBER 1, 2008.  THE CONTROLLED ITEMS ARE INCLUDED THE NINE 
CATEGORIES STATED IN THE CONTRACT. 
 
4. BURNABY APPEARS TO BE A BONA FIDE FIRM IN TAIWAN.  AIT'S VISIT 
DID NOT UNCOVER ANY NEGATIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION OR 
ITS SUITABILITY TO RECEIVE SENSITIVE U.S. PRODUCTS.
