1. Poloff delivered reftel message to MFA Head of UN Division 
Azzedine Farhane on September 26.  Farhane said that Morocco 
will likely participate in the Global Initiative to Combat 
Nuclear Terrorism Exercise Planning Group second meeting in 
Washington, D.C. on November 13-14.  He will forward the 
details of the meeting to the appropriate officials in the 
Defense and Security departments and will notify the U.S. 
Embassy via dipnote of whom they intend to send. 
 
2. Farhane was unable to comment on the agenda but asked 
whether U.S. funding would be available to cover the expenses 
of the Moroccan participants who travel.
