Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). ΒΆ1. (U) Acting DCM Mary Deane Conners and EST FSN Martin Matlebyane 
met on Monday August 11 with Mr. Peter Lukey, Chief Director for Air 
Quality Management and Ms. Margo Richardson, Deputy Director, 
Atmospheric Pollution, at the Department of Environmental Affairs 
and Tourism (DEAT), to deliver the IPCC demarche (reftel).  Lukey 
received the demarche and promised that the SAG would respond after 
the matter has been discussed within DEAT.  Post will follow up and 
provide an update as soon as possible.  Margo Richardson will lead 
the South African delegation to the Geneva IPCC meeting at the end 
of August.
