ΒΆ1.  (SBU) The Department of Foreign Affairs and International 
Trade confirmed on June 5 that Canada plans to make a 
contribution of C$300,000 for the UN Trust Fund for Electoral 
Assistance to Zimbabwe, plus an additional contribution to 
the AU, through the Canadian International Development 
Agency.  Officials are aware of the urgency and will press 
for quick disbursement.
