2.  In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements, 
this cable forwards the name of one Ministry of Interior General who 
will accompany 11 Wolesi Jirga members invited by Rep. David Price 
and Rep. David Drier to participate in a House Democracy Assistance 
Commission (HDAC) program.  HDAC will focus on legislative oversight 
of the defense and security sector.  Post possesses no derogatory 
information on this individual.  Post requests the Department's 
review of this individual by June 12, 2008.
