Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

1. (U) This message is Sensitive but Unclassified -- Please 
handle accordingly. 
 
2. (SBU) Mission presented reftel points to Fikry Cassidy, 
Deputy Director for International Security at the Department 
of Foreign Affairs (DEPLU), on June 18.  Poloff stressed the 
importance of the UN Security Council and the USG designation 
of the Rajah Solaiman Movement and strongly encouraged the 
GOI to follow through with implementation of UNSCR 1267 
sanctions requirements. 
 
3. (SBU) Cassidy thanked us for the information but was 
unable to provide an official reply at this time.  He 
explained that Foreign Minister Hasan Wirajuda was attending 
the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) in Uganda and 
would not return to Jakarta until June 20. Cassidy stated he 
would pass the information to appropriate DEPLU and GOI 
offices for review in the meantime.
