1. (SBU) The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have nominated the 
following individual for participation in a National Defense 
University Near East/South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic 
Studies' Executive Seminar, scheduled to run in the U.S. June 
4-26, 2008.  Embassy Tel Aviv has no derogatory information 
in its records on the individual, or any other indication 
that he has been involved in gross violations of human rights.
