Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol).  On May 9, 2008, Poloff provided Moroccan Ministry of Foreign 
Affairs Counselor to the Director General for Bilateral 
Relations Karim Halim with a summary of the U.S. position on 
the ongoing Oslo process and encouraged the Government of 
Morocco to support reftel recommended amendments to the Oslo 
process draft text on cluster bombs.  Halim said that he 
would pass the information to relevant members of his 
ministry and give it full consideration.
