On May 9, 2008, Poloffs provided Moroccan Ministry of Foreign 
Affairs Counselor to the Director General for Bilateral 
Relations Karim Halim with reftel summary of U.S. policy 
regarding smallpox virus stock retention and offered to 
provide follow-up information as needed.  Halim said that he 
would pass the information to relevant members of his 
ministry and give it full consideration.
