Understanding cables

On May 9, Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Lesotho's Ministry 
of Foreign Affairs Americans and Europe Desk Director Pitso 
Makosholo.  While agreeing that piracy off the Somali coast was 
a troubling problem, he did not offer substantive comment on the 
UNSC draft resolution.  He said that he could follow up on the 
issue with Lesotho's mission in New York.
