1. Post confirms the following activities in observance of Day of 
Solidarity with the Cuban People: 
* Linking to Solidarity Day websites on post's website; 
* Providing op-ed to three major Jamaican newspapers and to radio 
stations; 
* Inviting Jamaican journalists to view interactive DVC with A/S 
Shannon on May 20; 
* Distributing flyers in consular waiting area; 
* Inserting comments regarding Cuba in speeches made by post 
officers; 
* Encouraging IIP speaker on U.S. elections to compare our election 
system to Cuba's; 
* Encouraging embassy staff to dress in white on May 21 to show 
solidarity with the Ladies in White.
