Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

 1. (SBU) On May 15 Ambassador spoke with Sierra Leone's 
Acting Foreign Affairs Minister Vandi Minah to present the 
U.S. 60 day report on Iran Sanctions, per UNSC 1803. 
Ambassador stressed the need to ensure robust international 
implementation and highlight the continued IAEA reports of 
Iran's failure to comply with the requirements imposed by the 
UNSC Resolution. 
 
2.  (SBU) Acting Minister Minah appreciated presentation of 
the report and commented that he was familiar with the UNSC 
resolution 1803 as well as the IAEA Report. He added that the 
GoSL wished to support the UNSC resolutions. He did not 
commit to raising this with the Iranian envoy in Freetown.
