ΒΆ1.  (SBU) On April 14, 2008, the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign 
Affairs Head of United Nations Division Azzedine Farhane 
informed Embassy Poloff that the Government of Morocco 
intends to send an officer from its Embassy in Paris to the 
Exercise Planning Group meeting for the Global Initiative for 
Combating Nuclear Terrorism (GI) on April 15, 2008.  This MFA 
communication came in response to Embassy Poloff's delivery 
on April 11, 2008 of reminder information regarding the 
conference, per reftel.  Farhane added that Moroccan Embassy 
officials in Paris would coordinate Moroccan participation in 
the meeting directly with reftel meeting organizers.
