Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

1. (SBU) On March 10, Econoff shared reftel points concerning 
the U.S. designation of four Syria-based members of Abu 
Ghadiyah Network with Wendela Haringhuizen, Senior Policy 
Officer, Terrorism and New Threats Unit, Ministry of Foreign 
Affairs, and Anne-Chris Visser, Senior Advisor, Financial 
Integrity Division, Ministry of Finance.  Haringhuizen said 
she would follow up on this issue and share the information 
with the Dutch Intelligence and Security Services (AIVD).
