Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). 1. Per reftel request, U.S. Mission to South Africa 
implemented ten Special Self Help (SSH) projects during FY 
2007.  Following are the results for these projects: 
 
Total number of people benefited from SSH projects:  3,380 
Of total, number of women: 945 
Of total, number of men: 480 
Of total, number unknown gender: 1955 
 
Total number benefited from access to improved water: 0 
 
Total number benefited from access to improved sanitation: 
146.
