1.  This is an action request - see paragraph 2. 
 
2.  In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements, 
this cable forwards the name of one Afghan national selected to 
attend language training at the Defense Language Institute at 
Lackland Air Force Base.  Post possesses no derogatory information 
on this individual.  Post requests the Department's review of this 
candidate by March 6, 2008.
