Understanding cables

1.  PolOff delivered reftel talking points to Minister Manuel 
Fernandez Salorio and Secretary Ana Ghigginio in the 
Argentine MFA's Office for International Affairs (DIOIN). 
Fernandez noted that the vote in the Fourth Committee was 
very similar to last year's and that Argentina voted, as it 
did the previous year, for 61/22 and 61/23, and abstained on 
61/116. 
 
2. On a related issue, Fernandez informed that Argentina 
supported in Second Committee an Israeli-initiated resolution 
on Agricultural Technology for Development.  He noted that 
the U.S. was a co-sponsor and that Argentina was considering 
co-sponsoring the resolution.
