1.  This is an action request - see paragraph 2. 
 
2.  In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements, 
this cable forwards the names and biodata of two Afghan Office of 
the National Security Council (ONSC) officials to participate in the 
Program for Terrorism and Strategic Studies at the George C. 
Marshall Center from November 2007 to February 2008.  Post possesses 
no derogatory information on these individuals.  Post requests 
Department?s review of these candidates and response by October 19, 
2007.
