1.  This is an action request - see paragraph 2. 
 
2.  In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements, 
this cable forwards the names and biodata of two Afghan development 
experts to take an advanced executive course at the Asia Pacific 
Center for Strategic Studies in Hawaii from October 15 - December 7, 
2007.  Post possesses no derogatory information on these 
individuals.  Post requests Department's review of these candidates 
and response by October 12, 2007.  Post appreciates Department's 
assistance in vetting these individuals with a short suspense.
