Understanding cables

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). The Department of Foreign Affairs (DEPLU) informed poloff 
September 24 that Indonesia would support U.S. candidate 
Felice Gaer for reelection to the UN Committee Against 
Torture. The decision was made by the Directorate General for 
Multilateral Affairs in response to our September 17 demarche 
(ref A). The other two candidates Indonesia will support are 
Claudio Grossman (Chile) and Luis Gallegos Chi Riboga 
(Equador).
