1.  This is an action request - see paragraph 2. 
 
2.  In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements, 
this cable forwards the names and biodata of two Afghan government 
officials to participate in the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear 
Terrorism (GICNT) Information Portal Workshop in Garmisch, Germany 
from August 26-29, 2007.  Post possesses no derogatory information 
on these individuals.  Post requests Department's review of these 
candidates and response by August 25, 2007.
