1. This is an action request - see paragraph 2. 
 
2. In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements, 
this cable forwards the names and biodata of five Afghan national 
security officials who will participate in career development 
training at the Marshall Center.  Mohammad Ismael Yoon will attend a 
Senior Executive Seminar there from August 22-29, 2007.  The other 
four officials will attend an Afghanistan-Pakistan Workshop at the 
Marshall Center from September 14-30, 2007.  Post possesses no 
derogatory information on these individuals.  Post requests 
Department's review of these candidates and response by August 10, 
2007.
