Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). 1. POLOFF delivered ref A talking points on "the importance 
of international support for counter-terrorism objectives" 
and ref B points on "implementing UNSCR 1747 (Iran nuclear 
program)" to the Ministry of Foreign Relations.  Deputy 
Foreign Minister Alejandra Liriano took our views on board 
but had no immediate reply.  We will report any subsequent 
Dominican response.
