Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

(U)  On April 2, we delivered reftel points to Marin 
Mottus, MFA Director for Africa, Middle East and Latin 
America Division, and Kadri Jogi, MFA Iran Desk Officer, 
regarding the request for Nuclear Supplier Group (NSG) 
countries to permit the sharing of export denial 
information with the IAEA and IAEA member states.  Jogi 
thanked us for the points and assured us that Estonia 
strictly followed all UNSC sanctions on Iran and agreed 
that NSG countries should share information with the 
IAEA.
