  • The bottom box presents the body of the cable. The opening can contain a more specific subject, references to other cables (browse by origin to find them) or additional comment. This is followed by the main contents of the cable: a summary, a collection of specific topics and a comment section.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). 1. (SBU) Department requests country clearance for PDAS 
Patricia McNerney, Kurt Kessler, Anthony Ruggiero, and 
Jennifer Fowler to meet with Canadian officials in Ottawa on 
April 16.  Agenda items and requests for meetings will be 
conveyed to control officer via email.  ISN/CPI Ruggiero has 
worked directly with the Canadian Embassy in Washington. 
Canadian MFA Director-General Rob McRae has agreed to host 
PDAS McNerney's visit.  Country clearance will be assumed 
unless a negative reply is received.
