1. The following statement is provided to verify the human 
rights vetting process: at this time the Embassy verified 
that Post possesses no credible information of gross human 
rights violations by: 
 
Major Ahmed Ali Saleh AL ASADI, Yemen Air Force, DOB: 01 Feb 
1964 
 
2.  Additionally the following human rights vetting 
information is provided: 
 
A.  Specific assistance: Asadi will be attending an English 
language course at Lackland Air Force Base, TX (February 27 - 
May 4).  Asadi will then attend aircraft maintenance training 
at Sheppard AFB, Texas (May 5 - September 27). 
 
B.  Certifying country team official: Pol/Econ Chief Joey 
Hood. 
 
C.  Current threat assessment: High. 
 
D.  This message grants country team approval on human rights 
vetting requirements for Asadi.
