Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

2. In order to comply with Leahy vetting requirements, this cable 
forwards the names and biodata of 7 individuals selected for DEA's 
Special Investigative Unit (SIU).  Post has reviewed the information 
available on these individuals and has found no derogatory 
information. These checks have included checks through DEA and FBI 
criminal databases.  When there are individuals with one name: Post 
has made a good faith effort to ensure that the individuals with one 
name actually only have one name.
