Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). Per reftel instructions, Ambassador and Lieutenant General 
Mohammed Majid al-Eitan, Director of Jordan's Public Security 
Directorate, signed a letter of agreement on December 14 that 
amends the previous agreement on use of the facility at 
Muwaqqar for the Jordan International Police Training Center 
(JIPTC).  The amendment extends use of JIPTC to February 28, 
ΒΆ2007.  Post will pouch the original to State/INL/CIV.  LTG 
Eitan took the opportunity to reaffirm the strong support of 
the GOJ for JIPTC, and expressed hope that the Center will 
continue to function in some form after February.
